Hello from the end of the Homer Spit!
We are currently enjoying being open for our first winter in many years! Stop on out and say hello or please put us in your travel plans if coming to Alaska for a visit this year. We'd love to share our history and make some more with you included. Some things to look forward to:
- Our Regular Season opening March 1st: We usually open on this day, so we will make it a party no matter if we've been open all winter or not!
- Exxon Valdez Story Telling and Live Music, Sponsored by the Pratt Museum and the Salty Dawg. 20 years later, we know your stories are still fresh. Come share them with us and enjoy live music later. March 27th, 7pm Story Telling; 10pm live music.
- 3rd Annual Bird Call Competition May 9th, 7-8pm. Start practicing now for this fun and funny bird call competition, happening during Shore Bird Festival. All are welcome to this free event, but if you are under 21 you must be accompanied by your parent. Categories are for serious birders and not-so-serious. Compete for cool Salty Dawg Souvenirs!
